Our Team

Melissa Cullen, RMT
Melissa is the owner and operator of Sea to Sky Massage Therapy since 2003.
Melissa graduated from the Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington, Ontario in 2000. There she gained in depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedic assessments and specific treatment techniques for various soft-tissue related injuries. Upon graduation, Melissa ran a small massage therapy clinic in Port Dalhousie, Ontario. She has since relocated to British Columbia, where she completed an additional certification program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Since moving to BC, she has provided massage therapy and spa services in five-star resorts in Whistler where treatments ranged from Sports Deep Tissue Massages to Ayurvedic Steam Therapy and Aromatherapy. She now enjoys practicing solely in Squamish at Sea to Sky Massage Therapy with focus on deep soft tissue rehabilitation with a “search and destroy” mentality. She is currently pursuing her degree in Health Science through Thompson Rivers Open University. While her therapeutic approach focuses on deep tissue and trigger point therapy, in her practice, Melissa also incorporates CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Organ Mobilizations to aid in proper abdominal organ function. Melissa also has specialized training in pregnancy massage and infant massage therapy.
When not working in health care, Melissa is a mom to a high energy little boy, an avid hiker and trains in martial arts. Melissa believes that a positive and proactive attitude toward health care and life experience is the key to manifesting a better quality of life.
